File Setting

Adding Fields to Inbound Campaigns: It is mandatory for each campaign to have some default fields like Phone, Name etc. In case of inbound campaigns, there can be two possibilities:

Campaign has existing leads


  1. Upload A CSV File To The Campaign:

    1. Upload: Provide path of the CSV file to be uploaded for the selected campaign.

    2. Upload List

    3. Delimiter Settings: After a file is uploaded, specify the field delimiter.

      Note: This form will not appear if the correct delimiter is detected automatically.

    4. Select File Delimiter

      1. Delimiter: Default (Comma, Semi-Colon, Tab) or Custom.
      2. Go: To parse the file and get the list of fields corresponding to custom field delimiter.
      3. Field List: List of fields detected corresponding to the specified delimiter.
      4. Error: Error (if any) while reading/parsing the file with corresponding delimiter.
      5. Back: To go back to Admin Task - Campaign Tab.


    5. CSV Field Settings: It lists down all the fields available in the uploaded CSV file.

      1. Add Field: Add new fields to the uploaded campaign file.
      2. Remove Field: Remove selected field(s) from the uploaded campaign file.
      3. Manage Fields: This option allows the administrator to restrict agents from editing lead. The checked fields will not be editable by the agents.

      4. Phone Field: Select the field/column that will contain the phone number or where phone number of incoming call will be saved.
      5. Disposition Field: Select the field that will be used as the disposition field. This field will be used to indicate the call status.
      6. Cancel: To go back to Admin task and perform this operation later.

New Campaign - no existing leads

In this case fields will have to be added manually by going to Add New/Remove Fields option for this inbound campaign.


  1. Add New/Remove Fields: Select your campaign, open field settings form using “Add New/Remove Fields” option available on Campaign Tab.

    1. Add Field: Add fields for all the mandatory details that are required to be taken from the contacted client / customer for this campaign. Provide field name to be added like First Name, Last Name, Address, Phone, FAX etc.

      • Ok: To add this field.
      • Cancel: To close this form without saving this field.

    2. Remove Field: Select field from the field list and remove.
    3. Manage Field: This option allows the administrator to restrict agents from editing lead. The checked fields will not be editable by the agents.
    4. Phone Field: Select the field/column to which phone number should be saved.
    5. Disposition Field: Select the field that will be used as the disposition field. This field will be used to indicate the call status in call logs.
    6. Cancel: To go back to Admin task and perform this operation later.
    7. Submit: To submit /save the information added and to close this form.


  2. Download Campaign File: Click this button after selecting a campaign, and provide the location to save the campaign file.

    1. Add New Condition: To add a new condition for generating campaign subset.
    2. Remove Condition: Remove the selected condition.
    3. Select Criteria/List: Load previously saved criteria by selecting the criterion name.
    4. Save Criteria: Save the specified criterion as a named criterion for future reference.
    5. View Search Result: Submit to view the result set based on the given conditions. Based on the conditions, leads are fetched and displayed.

      1. Edit Selected Leads: Select one or more records to edit its details.

        Note: This form also allows the administrator to modify the scheduled time of the dialed leads.

      2. Deactivate Selected Leads: Select records to deactivate them in order to prevent them from being dialed. (This functionality is for Outbound Campaigns, for more details check Outbound User Manual).
      3. Activate Selected Leads: Select inactive records to reactivate them. (This functionality is for Outbound Campaigns, for more details check Outbound User Manual).
      4. Add Leads to Campaign: Use Add Record form to add new lead to the campaign.

      5. Go To Page Number: Display the results of a particular page number.

      6. Set Page Size: Specify a number to limit the number of records that can be displayed on a single page.

      7. Discard Result Set: Go back to the Campaign Tab after discarding the retrieved records.
      8. Select All: Check this to view the complete CSV file uploaded for this campaign.
