  • Every time I start dialing my campaign, Phipe gives an error message that says "ERROR WHILE TRYING TO READ USER DEFAULTS". What could be the possible reason?
    Follow these steps to resolve this error:
    1. On the Select Campaign form, select the campaign you wish to dial and click Submit.
    2. The next screen that you see is the Dialer & Record Details screen. This is where you should get the "ERROR WHILE TRYING TO READ USER DEFAULTS" message.
    3. Press "Ok" to get rid of the message.
    4. Open "Goto" on the menu and open the "Set Defaults" form.
    5. Select a timezone and click on Apply Settings.
    Now you can continue to dial your campaign and should not get the error message again.
  • What are the prerequisites to use Salesforce through Phipe?
    1. You must have an either of the following account types on Salesforce: Enterprise/Unlimited or Developers.
    2. API access should be enabled for your Salesforce login.
  • I am trying to login to my Salesforce account though Phipe but every time it shows an error message "Login Failed, please try again". What could be the possible reason?
    To login to your sales force account using Phipe, you need to add a security token with the password.For example,

    Security Token: XXXXXXXXXXX

    Salesforce Password: mypassword

    You must enter mypassword XXXXXXXXXXX in place of your password
  • How to generate Salesforce security token required to login through Phipe?
    Security token can be generated from your Salesforce login. Please contact your Salesforce administrator for more details.
  • Phipe does not accept the campaign name provided by me, it shows an error message "Unable to add campaign"?
    While creating a new campaign, avoid using the following characters / \ : * ? " < > | in your campaign name as windows does not accept them as part of a file name.
  • While trying to remove a campaign named "XXX/TEST", it shows an error message "Unable to delete campaign". What could be the possible reason?
    Campaigns with names having the following characters / \ : * ? " < > | are not accepted by Phipe so avoid using these characters while creating campaigns.
  • Does the free version of Phipe have support for Inbound Campaigns?
    No, free Phipe does not offer these features. Please look at the Enterprise version for this and additional advanced features.
  • How can I add comments to a call?
    You can add comments to a particular disposition type by going to the Disposition Settings form and checking the "Add Comment" option. On disposing the call, call comments box will pop up and added comments will be available to view or edit when this lead is redialed.
  • How can I call a number that is not in my uploaded list?
    The free version gives you the option to dial numbers manually. Use the "Manually Call a Number" functionality from the Options menu. This manually dialed number will be added to your list automatically and will allow you to add the customer details.
  • How can I schedule a call for some later date/time?
    1. After disconnecting the call, select disposition of type "Specify after Call".
    2. Select "Back to pool"
    3. "Now under "Back to pool" conditions you can select the desired date & time for the callback.
    4. Call the next lead. The scheduled lead will be automatically called at the date/time you specified and your dialer will tag it as a Scheduled Call.
